The Tennessee Bar Journal serves as the official publication of the TBA. All members receive the Journal as a benefit of their membership. Our members appreciate the way the Journal reflects the high professional standards of the legal community. Each edition provides featured articles, standing columns, news and licensure and disciplinary announcements. TBA Today
TBA Today is an electronic service of the Tennessee Bar Association that brings to each member's e-mail address the most recent Tennessee appellate court decisions, new Tennessee Supreme Court rules and orders, attorney general opinions and news for and about the Tennessee legal community. It's faster than any other available service ... and it's free for TBA members. Submit information and events to be included or view archived issues.
TBJ Select
The TBJ Select is an e-newsletter sent to TBA members twice a month to highlight and expand on stories that appear in the Tennessee Bar Journal, as well as provide new, previously unpublished content. An archive of issues also is available.
TBA Talk
TBA Talk is an online discussion forum where members can post questions, request referrals, share knowledge, ask procedural questions and more. The online platform offers several features for accessing posts online and conducting searches of past questions and responses. TBA Talk is free to all members.

Tennessee Rules of Professional Conduct
The latest edition of the Tennessee Rules of Professional Conduct includes all current amendments and is available in a booklet-sized printed format or as a downloadable electronic file either in Microsoft Word or PDF format.

Please note that this listing may not comprise the entirety of local rules of practice, but reflect only the rules that have been provided by the listed districts. Additional rules may be obtained from the court clerks' offices in each district or county.
Alimony Bench Book
The latest edition of the Alimony Bench Book is now available. Published by the TBA’s Family Law Section, the book provides a ready resource for dealing with alimony cases in Tennessee. Current Family Law Section members can access their copy at no cost on the Family Law eCommunity page, but must be logged into their TBA account. Others may purchase an electronic copy for $25 from the TBA Store.
Legislative Updates
Members can follow the TBA's efforts to influence federal and state policy as it fulfills one of the core missions of the association — advocacy for the profession and for our system of justice. TBA has 33 sections, each of which provide legislative updates and opportunities for section members to create and provide feedback on practice area legislation. Track legislative action when the General Assembly is in session with the TBA's Legislative Updates podcast, live on Facebook or posted in the TBA Podcast Network.
Disaster Resources for Tennessee Lawyers
Members have access to a detailed outline for volunteer attorneys providing legal assistance to victims of a disaster. Resources also include information on assisting the public for lawyers who want to help, and information for lawyers to help other lawyers.
