This appeal involves a petition to terminate the parental rights of a father to his daughter. The juvenile court found that the grounds of abandonment by an incarcerated parent and failure to manifest an ability and willingness to assume custody were proven by clear and convincing evidence. The juvenile court also determined that the termination of parental rights was in the best interest of the child. The father appeals. We affirm in part and reverse in part but ultimately affirm the termination of the father’s parental rights.
