TBA President Sherie Edwards writes in her final column that it's "an easy one to write, and I do so with a heart filled with gratitude and respect for the many people who made my year as president fulfilling for me, both personally and professionally, and I hope fulfilling for you as a member." "My goal was always to inform (and occasionally amuse) the great number of Tennessee lawyers who occasionally handle a will, trust or estate matter, and who need to keep up with key law changes, while still giving even the specialists a new insight or two,” Knoxville attorney Dan W. Holbrook says. He has written the Journal's column, “Where There’s a Will,” for 18 years, from early in 2000 and into 2012, and then again early in 2018 through January 2022, which was his last. Filling the hole created by Dan Holbrook's leaving, Knoxville lawyer Eddy Smith begins writing "Where There's A Will" in this issue.
