Awards presented at TBA Convention in Memphis

NASHVILLE, June 29, 2015 – Outgoing Tennessee Bar Association (TBA) President Jonathan Steen presented the Liberty Bell Award to the Jackson-based Howell Edmunds Jackson American Inn of Court at the TBA Convention in Memphis this month. Inn President Laura Williams with Rainey Kizer Reviere & Bell and Vice President Kristi Rezabek with the Tennessee Appellate Courts were on hand to accept the award.

Jennifer Lacey, John Williams awarded annual honor

Chancellor Butler honored at association’s annual convention

NASHVILLE, June 29, 2015 – 26th Judicial District Chancery Court Judge James F. “Jimmy” Butler was honored with the Tennessee Bar Association’s Justice Frank F. Drowota III Outstanding Judicial Service Award for his outstanding and dedicated service to the courts and the legal community. The award was presented by outgoing TBA President Jonathon Steen at a luncheon held in conjunction with the TBA Annual Convention in Memphis on June 19.

Lambert selected by leadership class members for recognition

NASHVILLE, June 29, 2015 — Knoxville lawyer Regina Lambert was presented with the Larry Dean Wilks Leadership Award by fellow members of the Tennessee Bar Association’s 2015 Leadership Law class during the group’s graduation ceremonies in Memphis this month. She is the fourth recipient of the award.

New senior counselors named at TBA convention in Memphis

NASHVILLE, June 29, 2015 — Eighty-six attorneys from around the state were honored as “senior counselors” for their service to the legal profession during the Tennessee Bar Association’s annual convention June 19 in Memphis. Senior counselors are those Tennessee Bar Association members who, during the coming membership year will reach 75 years of age or complete 50 years of practice.
