The Tennessee Supreme Court has issued a number of orders suspending Tennessee-licensed attorneys who have not paid their 2014 annual registration fee to the Board of Professional Responsibility and/or have not filed a mandatory compliance statement that eligible client funds are held in accounts participating in the Interest on Lawyers' Trust Accounts (IOLTA) program. Those names appear first. On July 8, 2009, the Supreme Court of Tennessee adopted amendments to Rules 8 and 43 of the Rules of the Supreme Court of Tennessee requiring all attorneys who hold eligible client funds to participate in the Tennessee Bar Foundation's Interest on Lawyers' Trust Accounts (IOLTA) program. These amendments were effective Jan. 1, 2010, and the 2010 Mandatory IOLTA Compliance Statement was included with the Board of Professional Responsibility's 2010 Annual Registration Statement.

The attorneys listed below were suspended by the Board of Professional Responsibility on Oct. 25, 2010, for failure to pay the annual registration fee as required by Rule 9, section 20 of the Rules of the Tennessee Supreme Court. Attorneys who have complied with the rule and have been reinstated are noted as such.
