Nashville Public Television has partnered with AgeWell Middle Tennessee this year for its Aging Matters Digital Scam Prevention Workshop series. Each workshop will include a screening of "Aging Matters: Exposing Cyber Threats" followed by a presentation on identifying and preventing cyber scams for older adults. Sessions will be held in Ashland City, Dover, Erwin, Franklin, Gallatin, Murfreesboro, Nashville, Smyrna and Springfield. Workshops are free but registration is required. Get details on events.

The Women’s Political Collaborative of Tennessee will celebrate 50 years of action on Wednesday with an event and awards presentation. The event will take place beginning at 5:30 p.m. CDT at the Woolworth Theater, 223 Rep. John Lewis Way N., Nashville 37219. Nashville lawyer Margaret Behm with Dodson Parker Behm and Capparella will be honored with the group’s inaugural Barbara Haynes Lifetime Achievement Award, which is named for the city’s first female general sessions court judge. Legislative Advocate Awards will be presented to La Quita Martin and Jenny Ford, and Community Advocate Awards will be presented to Metro Councilwoman Tanaka Vercher and Joyce Searcy. Tennessee Alliance for Legal Services (TALS) is hosting a course on expungement on March 30 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. EDT. This will be a virtual event covering the ins and outs of expungement, starting with non-conviction expungement, moving through conviction expungement and ending with information about re-entry and potential upcoming changes during this legislative session. Women are leading the majority of national bar associations across the United States this year, and in celebration of Women’s History Month, the ABA Commission on Women in the Profession will host a free webinar about the advancement, challenges and power of women in bar leadership.
