Tennessee Justice for Our Neighbors  (JFON) will hold its monthly Legal Clinic on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1:00pm at Hillcrest United Methodist Church, 5112 Raywood Lane, Nashville, 37211. JFON provides affordable, high-quality immigration legal services to immigrants, educates the public and faith-based communities about issues related to immigration and advocates for immigrant rights. Memphis Area Legal Services will host its Attorney of the Day clinic every Thursday in March beginning at 1:30 p.m. During the clinic, volunteer attorneys will meet with pro se litigants to provide help and make referrals. Clients are seen on a first come first serve basis. This month's clinics will take place on March 5, March 12, March 19 and March 26 in Room 134 of the Judge D'Army Bailey Courthouse, 140 Adams Ave., Memphis 38103.

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Nashville is celebrating its 35th birthday with a fundraiser on April 25 at Marathon Music Works. The 80s-themed birthday bash will run from 6:30 p.m. to midnight. Attendees are encouraged to dress in their best 80s attire. CASA serves hundreds of children each year who are in the court system due to abuse and neglect. It provides a voice for these children in court and works to find safe and permanent home placements. The Benjamin L. Hooks Institute for Social Change has announced that president and executive director of the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, Kristen Clarke, will speak at the 2020 Join Hands for Change Luncheon on April 23. The Lawyers’ Committee is a nonprofit organization working to protect and advance civil rights. The luncheon will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the University of Memphis Holiday Inn, 3700 Central Avenue. The 12th Judicial District Annual Bar Dinner will take place April 24 on the Southern Belle Riverboat in Chattanooga from 7 to 9 p.m. EST. Guest speaker for the dinner will be former U.S. Attorney General and current Belmont University College of Law Dean Alberto Gonzales. Tickets are $65 per person, which includes a buffet dinner, cash bar and question and answer session with Alberto Gonzales. All tickets must be purchased by April 1 and will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. The first 164 tickets sold will be seated on the main deck with the remaining tickets being seated on the second deck with a video feed of the presentation. Tickets may be purchased by mailing a check, money order or cashier’s check to Nicole Rogers at P.O. Box 511, Jasper, TN 37347. Questions can be directed to Rogers.
