The TBA Immigration Law Section will host its annual forum live in Nashville on May 10 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. CDT. Immigration Section Chair Arléne Amarante, a professor at the Lincoln Memorial University Duncan School of Law, will produce the program, which will offer five hours of general credit. The TBA Intellectual Property Law Section will hold its annual forum on April 28 starting at 9:30 a.m. CDT in Nashville. Attendees are invited to join section leadership for a networking reception the night before the program from 5-7 p.m. Stay tuned for more details coming soon.

Save the date for the TBA’s 27th Annual Labor & Employment Law Forum, which will take place May 5 in Nashville. The forum brings together labor and employment attorneys and in-house counsel to learn from top professionals in the labor and employment arena. This year’s program will provide practical insights on emerging trends and critical issues, including “the new NLRB,” updates to FLSA case law, a judicial panel of state and federal judges, how to conduct effective mediations, and an ethics presentation on interviewing witnesses within the workplace.

The TBA Young Lawyers Division is offering three one-hour webcasts to help lawyers refresh and rejuvenate their practice. The programs all will be held on Jan. 26. The TBA Business Law Section will present its annual forum on April 21 both online and in-person. The focus of the program will be business transactions in the news and how that applies to those practicing in the state of Tennessee.
