Still need CLE hours to satisfy your 2014 requirements? The TBA has plenty of options for you during the final week of the year. Along with several hundred online programs, there will be a full day of programming available at the Tennessee Bar Center on Dec., 29, Dec. 30 and Dec. 31. Each of those sessions kick off at 7 a.m. and continue until 7 p.m., and are all certified for live credit. No advance registration is required and you can take as few or as many hours of programming as you need.

The TBA’s annual year-end CLE Blast kicks off next Monday and then returns after the holiday on Monday, Dec. 29, Tuesday, Dec. 30 and Wednesday, Dec. 31. Each day will feature three tracks offering a variety of dual (ethics) and general credit. Programs will start at 7 a.m. and run all day.

Two new ethics programs from the TBA focus on disaster prevention and recovery. The first offers a “how to” guide to prevent, prepare for and respond to a disaster with a focus on the business reasons for planning ahead and practical tips for guiding crisis decision making. The second course continues the theme with sessions on how to conduct a risk analysis, protect computers and networks, recover from technology crashes and restore human and financial resources.
