Mark your calendar for the 32nd Annual TBA CLE SKI, being held Jan. 22-27, 2017, at the Stonebridge Inn in Snowmass, Colorado. Participants will be able to attend CLE sessions each morning and afternoon with plenty of time to hit the slopes in between programs. Topics will cover entertainment law, social security disability, updates on labor and employment law, ethics and a U.S. Supreme Court case review.

A CLE designed to help lawyers read more and recall more is set for Sept. 30 in Nashville. Attendees will learn how to build memory capacity and comprehension techniques. Learn more about the course, read reviews from previous registrants or register online.

The TBA’s 2016 Court Square series wraps up with a session in Chattanooga on Sept. 29. The CLE will be held at Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel. Tonya Cammon and Jeremy Cothern will provide a case review of State of Mississippi v. Byron De La Beckwith, U.S. District Court Judge Travis McDonough will cover lessons from the bench, and Sam Elliott will provide insights from the Hoffa Trial.

The TBA’s 2016 Court Square series continues with a session in Dyersburg on Sept. 15. The course will be held at the Farms Golf Club. Sarah Day, Jennifer Vallor Ivy and Judge Steven Stafford will address changes in summary judgment law; Judge Jim Hamilton will provide a basic overview of the Tennessee Claims Commission; and Laura Chastain with the Board of Professional Responsibility will present an ethics session.

The TBA’s 2016 Court Square series will head to Cookeville on Sept. 15. The three-hour course will be held at the Higher Education Campus. Parke Morris, Nathan Ridley and Donald J. Farinato will address privilege law in Tennessee, legislative updates and the revised Uniform Fiduciary Access to Digital Assets Act.

The TBA’s 2016 Court Square series will head to Clarksville on Sept. 13. The three-hour course will be held at the Customs House Museum. Parke Morris, Judge William Goodman, Sherry Wilds and Elise McMillan will address privilege law in Tennessee, best practices from the bench, occupational diploma and hiring persons with disabilities.

The 2016 Court Square series is heading to Jackson! On Sept. 9, Nancy Choate, Sherry Wilds and Linda Warren Seely will address Medicaid planning, occupational diploma, hiring persons with disabilities and how lawyers can best thrive. The course will take place at the Chamber of Commerce.
