This year's Animal Law Forum will be hosted in Murfreesboro at the MTSU Horse Science Center on May 12. Sessions will focus on animal abuse resources as well as municipal ordinance enforcement. A special extended panel will address nonprofit management for both animal law specialists and general practitioners. New legislation and case law will be highlighted, as well as technology’s influence on the modern law practice. An optional tour led by Dr. Rhonda Hoffman will allow attendees to visit the facilities following the CLE. Read more and register here.

Register for the TBA's CLE examining the intersection of real estate and divorce law before it's too late! The program, which will be held at the Bar Center on May 8, will offer a panel presentation covering real estate practices in complaints and family law. Speakers will address financial problems that can occur post-divorce relating to credit problems, foreclosures and bankruptcy. Sessions will also address types of deeds and how they are handled in divorce cases.

The TBA’s 21st annual Labor and Employment Forum will be held May 8 at the Tennessee Bar Center in Nashville. Sessions will cover the latest federal and state developments, with separate emphasis on the expansion of labor laws in non-union settings, emerging gender-related issues, and the continued explosion of wage and hour litigation. CLE on criminal law will be held at the Bar Center in Nashville on May 3. Attendees will learn about the latest in Tennessee DUI law and best practices for handling criminal cases. Sessions will touch on the technical and legal aspects of criminal defense and provide tips on how to best advise clients.
