The Tennessee Bar Center will be closed Dec. 25 and 26 for the Christmas holiday. Operations will resume on Dec. 27 when the annual Year End CLE Blast will begin at 7 a.m.

The TBA Special Committee on the Evolving Legal Market (ELM) has launched an online discussion forum on the changing legal marketplace and the technology helping shape it. The committee hopes the forum will establish an online community of Tennessee lawyers who can ask or answer questions relating to the modern legal landscape, review new legal technology, discuss innovative marketing and business strategies and much more. Voting ends tomorrow in the 2017 TBA Elections. A reminder email was sent on March 23 with a link to access the online ballot. If you did not receive an email, but are eligible to vote in one of the contested races, you can go to the ElectionsOnline website to get access to the ballot. Visit the TBA website for a full list of contest offices, as well as a list of contested Young Lawyers Division Board positions.

The deadline for taking part in the TBA Communications Survey has been extended to Nov. 7. Make sure your voice is heard by completing the survey and helping identify the communications needs and practices of Tennessee lawyers. You can find a link to the survey in the email sent to you by Yacoubian Research.

To access, view, download and print any article or issue, log in to TBA.org and follow the easy steps on the Journal’s archive page.
