The Tennessee Faith & Justice Alliance is celebrating its third annual Pro Bono & Faith Days with training events in each grand division of the state this month. The programs are held to inform faith leaders and community partners of free legal resources and help in their areas. The next session will be Oct. 24 in Gallatin at the First Baptist Church Gallatin, 205 E. Main St. Get registered for this event here. Legal Aid of Middle Tennessee & the Cumberlands will hold a Veterans Project Legal Help Clinic next Wednesday at Operation Stand Down Tennessee. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Operation Stand Down is located at 1125 12th Ave. S., 37203. The clinic helps veterans and their family members with a range of legal problems. Legal Aid of Middle Tennessee & the Cumberlands (LAS) will hold its “4th Thursday” Legal Help Clinic Oct. 24 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Belmont Ministry Center, 2005 12th Ave. S. (the former home of the Bass Street Baptist Church). In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, LAS will provide additional assistance with pro se family law forms at the event. Attorneys will be on hand to review forms for couples divorcing with or without children or those working on parenting plans or needing orders of protection.

The Community Legal Center (CLC) will celebrate 25 years of service with a Silver Celebration next month. Guests will be treated to a seated dinner by Chef Kelly English’s Iris restaurant and music from The Mighty Souls Brass Band. The CLC is a non-profit organization that provides legal services to those with limited means. The Silver Celebration will take place on Nov. 19 at the Crosstown Concourse Theater in Memphis. This is the first in a series of programs held to inform faith leaders and community partners of free legal resources and help in their areas. Get registered for this event that will be held on Oct. 21 from 1 to 3 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Church in Morristown, 2518 W. Andrew Johnson Hwy. Memphis Area Legal Services will hold its Attorney of the Day Clinic on Thursday from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Volunteer attorneys will be in Room 134 of the Judge D’Army Bailey Courthouse, 140 Adams Ave., to meet with pro se litigants and provide advice, counsel and referrals. Clients are seen on a first-come first-serve basis.

The Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands will hold a legal clinic Saturday from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Metro Nashville Public School’s Office of English Learners, 2694 Fessey Ct., Berry Hill 37204. This will be the last clinic at this location for the year.

Legal Aid of East Tennessee will conduct several new client intake clinics this week. Sessions will be held on Wednesday in Dunlap at the Seqautchie County Courthouse beginning at 9:30 a.m. CDT; in Pikeville at the Bledsoe County Courthouse beginning at 11 a.m. CDT; and in Dayton at the Rhea County Courthouse beginning at 2 p.m. EDT. On Friday, an intake clinic will be held in Madisonville at the Monroe County Courthouse beginning at 9 a.m. EDT. New client intake sessions are designed to determine if individuals qualify for assistance. For more information call 423-756-4013.

The Oak Ridge office of the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee & the Cumberlands will hold a clinic Tuesday in its office at 575 Oak Ridge Turnpike, Oak Ridge 37830. The clinic will run from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Prospective clients can call 865-483 8454 or 800-483-8457 for an appointment.
