Bio:

Billy Leslie joined Wilson Elser in August 2025 as a senior associate attorney. Billy was previously with Farrar Bates Berexa.  He also served as associate attorney at Wimberly Lawson, associate counsel at the Tennessee Department of Human Services and Department of Commerce and Insurance, and worked as a judicial law clerk for Judge Timothy L. Easter of the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals.  He received his J.D. from the Nashville School of Law in 2017 as a member of the Cooper’s Inn Honor Society.  Billy currently serves on the Tennessee Bar Association Board of Governors and is a past president of the TBA Young Lawyers Division and a member of the TBALL class of 2023-2024.  Billy is also a member of the Nashville Bar Association, currently serving as its assistant treasurer and was a member of the Nashville Bar Foundation Leadership Law Forum class of 2022-2023. Prior to becoming an attorney, Billy worked for Raymond James & Associates, in Nashville, for 24 years. He received his B.S. in Business Administration from Tennessee Tech in 1993.
