Bio:

A death bed promise to a patient started my journey into law.  As an RN, I saw the pain and worry of patients with debilitating diseases and the financial impact it had on them and their families.  To help them beyond the bedside, I decided to go to law school.  In my best Elle Woods voice, I mean, "what, like it's hard?"

I graduated from the Nashville School of Law in 2007 and hung my shingle in 2008, focusing solely on Social Security Disability.  This is a great marriage of my two careers- medicine and law.  Since then, I've helped thousands get the benefits that they deserve.  I love complex medical cases that others shy away from and have been dubbed the "Dr. House" of the Social Security disability world by one of the Administrative Law Judges. 

My husband and I have four children ranging in ages from 8 to 24.  My hobbies include thrifting, weightlifting, and soaking in the beauty of the beautiful Smoky Mountains.
