Bio:

Hon. Lee Bussart currently serves as the Marshall County General Sessions and Juvenile Judge. During her tenure as a judge, she spearheaded the creation of a CASA program to serve Marshall and Lincoln counties. Under her leadership, the first Marshall County Teen Court was created in October 2015. Prior to taking the bench in 2011, she was recognized in her litigation practice as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2010 and 2011. She remains active in Bar service as a member of the Tennessee Bar Association House of Delegates. She previously served in the American Bar Association House of Delegates and on the ABA Standing Committee on Judicial Independence. Judge Bussart is a American Bar Foundation Fellow, Tennessee Bar Association Young Lawyers Fellow, and a Paul Harris Fellow. Lee Bussart is a graduate of Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford, Connecticut and Hollins College in Roanoke, Virginia. She graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law, receiving the Dean's Citation for extraordinary contributions to the College of Law and the Legal Clinic Distinguished Student Attorney Service Award.
