Failure to File the Annual Fee and/or IOLTA Report
On Aug. 22, 2011, the Tennessee Supreme Court issued an order suspending Tennessee-licensed attorneys who did not pay their 2011 registration fee to the Board of Professional Responsibility and did not file a mandatory compliance statement that eligible client funds are held in accounts participating in the Interest on Lawyers' Trust Accounts (IOLTA) program. That list appears first.
On Sept. 12, 2011, the Tennessee Supreme Court issued two separate orders for those attorneys who either did not pay their annual fee or did not file the mandatory IOLTA report. These individual lists appear after the joint suspension list.
Attorneys who have since complied with the requirements, and for whom notice has been received from the court, are noted as reinstated.
