All four amendments to Tennessee’s constitution that were on the ballot yesterday have passed. They include: Amendment 1, which enshrines the state’s “right to work” law into the constitutional; Amendment 2, which removes a ban on clergy serving in the legislature; Amendment 3, which removes slavery as a possible punishment for a crime; and Amendment 4, which creates a line of succession for governors unable to temporarily serve.
