The Nashville YWCA is holding its annual “Stand Against Racism” program virtually on April 22. The event will run from 11 a.m. to noon CDT. This year’s theme, Justice in a Time of Crisis, will focus on civic engagement, voting rights, health disparities and a fair census. Speakers include Freedom Rider Ernest "Rip" Patton; Tennessee Human Rights Commission Executive Director Beverly Watts; Fabian Bedne with the office of Nashville Mayor John Cooper; Barbara Gunn Lartey with Metro Human Relations Commission; and YWCA President Sharon Roberson. Register for the free event.
