Kingsport attorney William T. “Bill” Gamble died on Monday. He was 90. Gamble was born and raised in Chattanooga and served in the U.S. Navy in World War II. He earned his law degree from Vanderbilt University in 1950. He was Of Counsel and past president at Wilson Worley Attorneys at Law, which he helped found. In addition to his legal work, Gamble was known as a popular local musician, playing in bands as well as the Kingsport Symphony Orchestra. His family will receive friends today from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, with a memorial service tomorrow at 2 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 100 West Church Circle in Kingsport.
