Bedford County lawyer Christopher Paul Westmoreland received a censure on Oct. 15 for failing to respond to requests for information from his client or file motions with the court. Westmoreland was appointed to represent a client on two criminal matters, which resulted in convictions. He neglected to timely file appellate briefs in both cases, even after being warned by the court to comply with the Rules of Appellate Procedure and the orders of the court. Read the BPR notice.
