Lipscomb University will host the Justice Film Festival, Sept. 11-12, in the school’s Shamblin Theatre. The festival features screen shorts and films that portray vulnerable or marginalized groups, including "Landfill Harmonic," "Imba Means Sing" and "Selma." “We are bringing award-winning films that have played at some of the most prestigious film festivals in the world to Nashville and introducing perspectives on topics that may inspire some new conversations among students at Lipscomb,” festival founder Andy Peterson said. Tickets may be purchased in advance online.
