Students at the University of Tennessee College of Law will provide assistance with personal tax returns on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5 to 7:30 p.m. between Feb. 18 and April 15. The effort is part of the IRS’ Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, which offers free tax help and electronic filing for those making $53,000 or less, persons with disabilities, the elderly and limited-English-speakers.
