The Tennessee Supreme Court on July 8 referred Williamson County lawyer Rodney Douglas Hanson II to the Board of Professional Responsibility for such action as it may deem warranted. Hanson was found guilty of one count of harassment and one count of theft on May 29. He was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days in the Williamson County Jail with a requirement that he serve at least 30% of his sentence for the harassment count followed by 11 months and 29 days of supervised probation for the theft. He also must make restitution to the victim of the theft in the amount of $768.24.
